Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm):

   - Transmission: Primarily spreads through the fecal-oral route via contaminated surfaces, clothing, or bedding.

   - Life Cycle: Adult pinworms live in the intestines, and females lay eggs around the anus, causing itching.

   - Prevention: Good hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing, keeping nails trimmed, and washing bedding and clothing, can help prevent infection.
